An impressive Antique Turkmen Silver Cuff Bracelet ‘Biliezik’ with Fire Gilding and Carnelians (#18-029)

This Incredible Turkmen bracelet is quite old and seriously heavy at over six ounces. Likely Tekke Turkmen, it features a double row of oval table cut carnelian stones. surrounded by fire-gilt designs. Two of the carnelians are cracked and one of the spear-like tines at the back of the bracelet is now missing. Some of the gilding has worn away, particularly at the sides of the bracelet, The piece shows significant wear and evident tribal use. Despite the damage, this piece has strong visual appeal and feels wonderful to wear. A really impressive old bracelet.
