Classic Navajo Sterling and Turquoise Men’s Ring (#18-016)

This is a beautiful Navajo sterling and turquoise men’s ring of very classic midcentury form. The rectangular stone rises slightly up from the bezel with a rounded facet, and has a beautiful sky-blue color with black and silver matrix. Three carved lines cross each side of the ring at a diagonal. The ring is marked simply: “Sterling” on the reverse.  I have a difficult time dating this ring with certainty, beyond the 2nd half of the 20th century.
